River Tube Rentals

$10 for Half Day (4 hours)

"Okay we rent tubes from you, now what do we do with them?"

Regardless of the day you choose to rent tubes you can count on help from Sun Country Tours to get the tubes loaded on your vehicle and get you fitted with personal floatation devices.

The next step is river logistics....since rivers don't go in a circle you can't put in and take out at the same place. What to do?

Friday through Monday

Bend Area Transit operates the Ride the River Shuttle. For more information on their shuttle service please visit their site. Ride the River Shuttle We do have shuttle schedules available at our office

Tuesday through Thursday

There is no shuttle running. To make logistics work on these days we have the following suggestions: 1. If your party has two cars, you can: If cars are big enough load everyone in one car, drop a car at the take-out and drive up to the launch point and float down to your take-out car. If your cars are not big enough to carry the whole party, take people and tubes to the launch point and then set shuttle by taking one car down to the take-out. 2. If your party has only one car, you may take tubes and people to the launch point and then take the car to the take-out. A taxi service may be called to drive you back up to the launch point. Taxi service is about $5-$6.

River Tubing

Rent one of our river tubes to enjoy the river the way the locals do. Floating the Deschutes River from Farewell Bend Park down through the Old Mill is a fantastic way to spend a hot afternoon.

Our rental tubes are not the truck tire type of years gone by. We use NRS River Tubes which have two air chambers, a cloth cover with handles and sport a mesh bottom so there is no falling through the center. All river tube rentals come with a life jacket for additional safety.
