RESERVATIONIST 

Job Description

As professionals in whitewater rafting adventure, our quest is to have the finest river outfitting company possible, whether judged by our guests or by our peers in the industry

I.                  

Job Expectations

·        Contribute to a positive, team atmosphere

·        Friendly, courteous and helpful pre and post trip communication with guests

·        Consistent and accurate communications with guests and lodging associates

·        Prompt arrival to work as scheduled

·        Pleasant and courteous phone manners

·        Proper use of OPRA Reservations System

·        Effective attention to detail

·        Perform upkeep and organization of office supplies, equipment and areas

·        Proper use of cash registers/capture machines

·        Conform to company policies as described in SCT Policy Handbook

II.               

Job Qualifications

·        Ability to communicate productively in the workplace

·        Ability to communicate in a friendly, courteous, and articulate way with guests

·        Ability to operate a multi-line phone system

·        Ability to accurately conduct mathematical and secretarial skills

·        Knowledge of proper accounting procedures

·        Knowledge of proper register, capture machine procedures

·        Necessary computer skills

III.            

Work Schedule

·        May 1 to September 30 or as needed.  Most reservationists will work from late June through late August, as this is our busiest period.

·        Typically, 5 on and 2 off with 8 working hours scheduled in a 9 hour shift.

Wage and Benefits

·        $8.50 per hour, and upwards
