Mini PPP - May 18th 2008
Sun Country Raft Tours will once again be participating in the
Mini Pole Peddle Paddle. This is the one event each year
that we ask our guides and drivers to donate their time and
skills.
What is it? The Mini PPP is a youth
multisport event where kids participate as teams to complete a
course. Paddling is typically the first and
of course most exciting event. They go out in heats
of 6 raft teams. We line up on the Deschutes in the
Old Mill and guide the rafts as the teams race down the
river. Then we load the boats up and do it all over
again.
This event is great fun and the more help the merrier.
We could use:
One designated driver to drive the boat truck all day.
At least 8 guides for the day, this allows breaks to
recharge.
