Job Description
As professionals in whitewater rafting adventure, our quest is to have the finest river outfitting company possible, whether judged by our guests or by our peers in the industry
I.Job Expectations
· Contribute to a positive team atmosphere
· Prompt arrival to work as scheduled
· Conduct thorough pre-trip inspections of vehicles
· Pleasant and courteous handling of guests
· Safe driving skills
· Clean vehicles daily. Wash Outside and Sweep and Spray Inside.
· Detect mechanical problems and Record them on Inspection checklists, as well, tell Vehicle Manager and write the problems on the Vehicles Board
· Conduct pre-, during and post-trip communications to guests
· Promote sales of photos, retail and future trips
· General knowledge of area history, geology and basics of rafting
· Perform shuttles by walking or running
· Conform to company policies as described in employee handbook
· Maintain a well stocked first aid kit and other safety and emergency items
II.Job Qualifications
· Current and valid commercial drivers license with passenger and air brake endorsements
· Demonstrated ability to perform the required tasks
III.Work Schedule
· Seasonal May 1 to September 30
· Hours vary from 3 to 12 per day
· Days of week may also vary as in most resort work
· Typically 4 to 5 days per week
